Little rethink about off-grid electricity consumption. Dare we assume we can always ‘be good’? At the moment, mistakes or getting it wrong are simply paid for with money. Different if this means no lights or god-forbid, no Internet.
I wonder whether I could have gone off-grid when I was younger. All of my mistakes, accidents and excessive behaviour were ahead of me. Thought I was so grown up, but stark reality steadily knocks the corners off of all of that childish, teenage behaviour.
So there’s the challenge; got to try to hang onto the child-like ‘wonder’, but sometimes going off grid seems dauntingly grown-up.
Just a thought.
