We had spent Saturday at the Grange Book Arts Open Day. Fantastic to see Jon’s new old press:
One of the beautifully rebound books was a 1633 Herbal with a recipe for a herb whose ‘vertue’ is “Cheese Renning”. Can’t wait to look for ladies bedstraw!
Speaking of beds, got back on Sunday but didn’t quite get this done, but a bit of lateral thinking and Mike found a way to put the bolts on the frame without drilling through the nails holding the platform together!
